We are a small dive team of instructors, divemasters, and spearos, working closely with local captains. Our combined knowledge means our team has unique insight to predict the dynamic weather and water conditions, and seasonal migration patterns of species for the richest, clearest, and safest experience!

We cater to all water experience level ranging from beginner snorkelers to rescue scuba divers and pride ourselves on offering a diverse selection of underwater adventure types.

OUR LOCATION & ABOUT LA VENTANA

 

La Ventana is a small beach town located in the heart of the Sea of Cortez. This body of water is nestled between the Baja California peninsula and mainland Mexico. Its unique location and proximity to the Pacific Ocean invite an abundance of rich aquatic scenes that legendary ocean adventurer, Jacques Cousteau, called the AQUARIUM OF THE WORLD.

Our dive shop is located inside of the beach front resort Baja Joes Resort in La Ventana. To come to the dive shop, walk inside the main entrance of the resort, then follow the pathway to the beach, take a right on the beach and our shop is the second garage on the beach

ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Our courses take 3 days to complete. During this time you can expect 2 classroom sessions that cover the theory of scuba diving and a total of 4 scuba dives.

  • You do not need to bring any equipment as everything will be provided! Your instructor and dive guide will discuss your equipment sizes and take care of all wetsuits, fins, and mask so you can feel comfortable the whole time.

  • Our instructors are highly trained professionals and will ensure your comfort and safety in the water at all times. If you are having trouble equalizing your ears, your instructor will work with you one on one until you are comfortable.

  • No, food is not provided on this tour. Guests are asked to pack a lunch.

  • Yes! Our dive courses are certified under the NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors) and SSI (Scuba Schools International) guidelines and are recognized internationally.

  • It is recommended that if you have not dived before that you take our 2 Day Introduction to Spearfishing experience.
